How many hours are there in her day? The owner of the Order of the Mother, the author of large-scale projects Olesya Tochilo from Polotsk breaks stereotypes, combining a successful career of the director of the Slavyansky hotel complex, a large family and active social activity.

To begin with, a striking fact is that a unique project will soon be launched at the country level, which Olesya is implementing as the head of the Center for the Protection of Life and Traditional Values “Zarozhdenie” of the Polotsk Diocese. Since this autumn, with the support and blessing of Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Benjamin, the first textbook for the school elective “Fundamentals of Family Life” is being tested. Olesya Tochilo is the main author:
- Educational guidance combines secular and spiritual approaches, while it is absolutely clear to modern teenagers. Of course, my personal experience of a large mother was also useful here.
By the beginning of the next academic year, the textbook is planned to be published in full circulation, making it available to schools throughout the country.
Olesya Tochilo has six children of different ages: 27-year-old Anastasia, 26-year-old Alena, 18-year-old Ivan, 17-year-old Evdokia, 15-year-old Sasha and 11-year-old Luka. Mother with a warm smile admits: family and inexhaustible interest in life is her main “battery”.
Olesya Tochilo together with the hotel complex "Slavyansky" and the center "Zarozhdenie" also presents a new socially significant project - a traveling exhibition "Belarusian woman through the centuries". The exposition of 14 tablets tells about outstanding Belarusians - from St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk to our first female geologist Anna Missuna.
The indifferent life position of the polochanka is also manifested in the hobby. Olesya has been kickboxing for many years. Next to her is her husband Eugene Telitsa, world and European champion in this sport. Together they created the youth project “Slavic Cup”, which supports sports-gifted children, instills in them family and patriotic values.
To the question about the most important thing – what parents should convey to their children – Olesya Tochilo answers without hesitation:
- My sons and daughters know the main thing: you must always be a decent person, no matter what ups and downs happen.
If you had a chance to give advice to a 20-year-old, Olesya would say:
- Listen more to yourself, know that you can do anything! Let the world around you say and think what you want: your own heart is the brightest.
NOW AND NOW
And Olesya Tochilo is a big animal lover. In their city apartment there is enough space for everyone: white as snow, Samoyed Duchet and Eyvy, lizard agame Blincik and... the imperial boa consort Wonder. Recently, the Polochanka decided to try herself in the role of a poultry farmer: she bought an incubator and brought out “guard” geese. Now at the cottage, the hostess and her guests are greeted by a friendly loud rumble - a reliable live alarm!
