MART found signs of violation of competition in the coordination of routes of SE “Minsktrans”

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade issued warnings to the State Enterprise Minsktrans following the appeals of carriers. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry.

Carriers were going to open new international routes and asked the company to agree on the schedules. Without such coordination, it is impossible to obtain a permit for international transport. However, carriers were refused, although previously similar schedules with a coincident or minimum departure interval were approved for other market participants.

Taking into account what was stated in the actions of the State Enterprise Minsktrans, signs of violation of the laws “On Natural Monopolies” and “On Countering Monopolistic Activities and Developing Competition” were revealed.
