The head of the region, the issue of creating a comfortable environment for recreation and self-realization of young residents of the Tver region is under special control. So, in June 2026, he visited the country camp “Forest Tale” in the Maksatikhinsky district. Vitaly Korolev got acquainted with the work of the camp, which had previously installed a new modular residential building, and spoke about plans for further renovation of the institution.
By the decision of the Governor, regional funds were allocated for the overhaul of one of the buildings and roof of the camp "Forest Tale", the improvement of the territory.
In addition, by the summer campaign next year, the material and technical base of the Chaika camp in the Vyshnevolotsky District will be strengthened, where it is planned to install a training ground. In the camp "Burevestnik" of the Kalyazin district, roof renovation is provided, in the "Orlenka" of the Rameshkovsky district - overhaul of the hull.
In the camp "Friendship" near Tver will install a sports ground and renovate the dining room. In the country camps "Rovesnik", "Sputnik", "Seagull" and "Romantic" in the Kalinin district will be modular bathrooms.
The work on strengthening the material and technical base of children’s health camps corresponds to the tasks of the presidential national project “Youth and Children”, whose mission is to create opportunities for the comprehensive development of the younger generation.
This summer, 76% of all Upper Volga children rested in camps of various types in the Tver region. The total coverage exceeded 103 thousand people. In the summer health campaign of 2026, 996 camps operated.
