"Medicine and Health - 2026": the main medical exhibition of autumn opened in Minsk

International specialized exhibition "Medicine and Health - 2026" began work in Minsk on October 13, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

The exhibition unites four areas: restorative medicine, rehabilitation, aesthetic medicine, cosmetology, as well as medical and health tourism. More than a hundred participants and more than 7.5 thousand visitors-specialists were announced.

The first day began with a grand opening. Honorary guests from Belarus and Russia were present at the venue. They gave a welcome speech and cut the ribbon.

- Every year the number of participants is growing, and the instruments we have seen are made at a high level. We need to think together about acquiring such developments for our clinics and rehabilitation centers, said Vasily Lukashevich, Chairman of the Belarusian Society of Disabled Persons.

Nadezhda Lobanova, Chairman of the Moscow City Organization of the All-Russian Society of Disabled Persons, came to Minsk with her colleagues. At the exhibition, she was looking for developments that can be used in the work of the Russian organization.

- We came with a large team to see Belarusian know-how. We have already managed to run through the stands, and Russian entrepreneurs are here, which is nice. We also noted the Belarusian prosthetic and orthopedic plant: there are interesting products that we have not had to work with before.

The exhibition was appreciated by Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Secretary General of the Belarusian Red Cross Dmitry Shevtsov.

- Those rehabilitation complexes that are presented here are actually from the category of space technologies. In the past, you could only dream about it. Now we must not only treat, but also qualitatively rehabilitate – so that a person forgets that he once had health problems as soon as possible. Here we can observe what technologies have already been introduced by our neighbors, exchange experience, he said.

The exhibition presents resuscitation equipment, patient monitors, artificial ventilation devices, ultrasound equipment and medical furniture. In the section of restorative medicine and rehabilitation - wheelchairs, technical means of rehabilitation, orthopedic shoes and prosthetic and orthopedic products.

- Here we have equipment for lifting, moving and positioning of disabled patients. It is in demand in rehabilitation departments and in intensive care. For example, ceiling systems that run on batteries. There are vests: so that a person in a wheelchair can be lifted and moved, as well as perform exercises, said Natalia, a leading specialist in the sale of medical equipment.

Also widely represented textile prostheses, bandages and bras for breast fixation. There are also systems for locomotor therapy, devices for figure correction with electromagnetic stimulation, hair cosmetics and recovery from acne. Actively conducted consultations for visitors. You could try functional smoothies and algal gels.

- We have been working in the market of Belarus and Russia for more than ten years and present products based on brown seaweed – kelp and fucus. These are gels and functional smoothies. All organic products, without GMOs and preservatives, undergo low-temperature hydrolysis, so stored in refrigerators. Kelp is an excellent antioxidant, has a rich range of micro and macro elements, contains fiber. The difference is only in form: someone chooses a gel, someone chooses a smoothie, said Deputy Director of the company of modern biotechnology Olga Vasilyonok.
