Bear spotted on the road to the resort Polyana 960 in Sochi

In the mountain cluster of Sochi noticed a bear, which quietly strolled along the road in the direction of the resort Polyana 960. The video with the animal appeared in the Telegram channel “Sochi with a light”.

In the footage, the bear moves near the roadway and, judging by the record, almost does not pay attention to people. The author of the publication suggested that the animal is looking for berries.

Meetings with bears are possible in the mountainous regions of Sochi, where the natural habitat of wild animals coexists with tourist routes and highways.

Experts recommend that when a bear is found, do not approach it, do not try to attract its attention for the sake of a photo and do not feed. If the animal is near the road, drivers should keep their distance and not interfere with traffic for the sake of observation or shooting.

Even if the bear looks calm, it remains a wild animal and can behave unpredictably. It is safest to watch from afar without provoking contact.
