Belgorod Mayor: Utilities ready for winter

The mayor of Belgorod Valentin Demidov checked the readiness of the Belgorbegostva equipment for winter. In the coming season, 110 cars will clean the streets, of which 20 are new. They've all been diagnosed.

Already purchased 90% of the sand-salt mixture of the planned volume. In total, more than 30 thousand tons of reagents will be prepared.

From November 15, round-the-clock duty will be organized. If necessary, about 50 units of equipment will be taken to the streets.

“On my instructions, the number of pavement routes has been increased from 7 to 11. In addition, we purchase small-sized equipment, connect contractors. The work in two shifts was provided, the mayor noted.

591 km of roads, 512 stops, 38 bridges and overpasses, as well as public spaces will be removed. In the event of heavy snowfall, around 400 people will be hand-cleaned where the machinery fails. Management companies will also connect to restore order in the yards.
