Voronezh City Hall opposed the abolition of fines for unpaid parking

The idea of the Civic Chamber of the region to mitigate the punishment for those who for the first time did not pay for parking in the city center, criticized the mayor Sergey Petrin. On October 12, he said a warning instead of a fine would undermine the logic of the project.

According to the mayor, the city has made a lot of efforts to get drivers to pay for parking spaces, including dealing with cases where car numbers were deliberately hidden. A return to warnings, Petrin said, would set the situation back, and then paid parking space would lose all meaning.

Now for non-payment of parking in the center of Voronezh is charged a fine of 3000 rubles. Unlike traffic violations, a 50% discount for quick payment does not apply to it.
