Indian Migration Service expels Russians from Goa
The checks cover the private sector and guest houses in tourist locations - Mandreme, Kerim and Pernhem.

The migration authorities of India are conducting inspections in the state of Goa, following which over the past week it was decided to expel 6 Russian citizens. Three have already left the country, the rest are awaiting the completion of deportation procedures.
According to reports, two of the already deported were previously brought to criminal responsibility, according to the Telegram channel “Mash”. At the same time, the owners of hotels, guesthouses and landlords are obliged to comply with the rules of registration of foreign guests: transfer data on accommodation on the C-Form form during the day, as well as promptly update information on the departure of guests.
The checks cover the private sector and guest houses in tourist locations - Mandreme, Kerim and Pernhem. During the raid in Kerim, five foreigners, including Russians, were detained, who were placed in a temporary detention center until a final decision on their expulsion was made. The reason was overdue tourist visas.
These measures fit into the general line to tighten immigration controls against crime and illegal business. In recent months, 160 foreigners, including Russian citizens, have been expelled from Goa.
