Mikhail Murashko called Volgograd risk factors thrombosis
Data presented in the presentation of the Minister at the Congress

The Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko listed the risk factors of thrombosis, speaking at the IV All-Russian Congress with international participation “Day against thrombosis in Russia”.
Predisposing risk factors include history of venous thromboembolism, chronic heart and kidney failure, advanced age, varicose veins, obesity, immobility or paresis, myeloproliferative diseases, pregnancy and the postpartum period, congenital or acquired thrombophilia, and hormone therapy.
Provoking risk factors are surgery, trauma, acute therapeutic disease, heart and acute respiratory failure, central vein catheterization.
