The Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov addressed the workers of agriculture and processing industry on the Day of agricultural worker, which is celebrated on October 11. The head of the region stressed that more than 30 thousand residents of the region - farmers, specialists of enterprises, scientists and processors - ensure the food security of the country with their labor.

“Thanks to your professionalism, the Pskov region confidently holds the status of one of the leaders in Russia in terms of growth in livestock and poultry production, demonstrating consistently high results in crop production,” the governor said. He also thanked the industry veterans for passing on the experience to the younger generation.
