The Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev spoke about the final of the contest “Paternity – Duty and Gift”, which was held in Tula. This year, 50 fathers from 18 municipalities of the region participated, and 25 people reached the final stage - five in each nomination.
The finalists, as the head of the region specified in his channel in the MAX messenger, took the stage with children and loved ones. They shared family traditions, performed songs, played musical instruments, answered difficult questions and tested their knowledge in an intellectual quiz.
As noted by Dmitry Milyaev, the contest helps to tell about caring and responsible fathers, whose families can become an example for others. The organizers are the Ministry of Social Protection of the Tula region and the Family MFC “My Family Center”.
The winners will be announced on October 16, on the eve of Father’s Day. On the same day, state and regional awards will be awarded, including insignia “Fatherly Glory”.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” told the story of the family of Oksana and Stanislav from Shchekin, who have been together for 12 years. The couple not only built a strong family, but also went through serious life trials.
Oksana has served in the patrol service for almost two decades, most of this time she works on the streets of the city. According to her, the staff of the PPP every day are close to people and help prevent crimes. With her future husband, she also met at the service: then Stanislav worked as a driver in the duty unit and left as part of the investigative and operational groups.
