Tula region takes part in the XIII International specialized exhibition "Road 2026", which takes place in Krasnodar. This was reported by Governor Dmitry Milyaev.
The exhibition brought together representatives of authorities, the scientific community, business and road industry specialists from all over the country. The event is timed to the Day of Road Workers and became a platform for discussing topical issues of transport infrastructure development.
The Tula region is represented at the exhibition by the delegation of the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management. As part of the business program, more than 15 events are planned dedicated to various areas of the industry.
One of the topics was road safety. Participants of the panel discussion “Strategic approaches to road safety” considered system solutions aimed at reducing accidents and improving road safety.
At the exhibition site, the Tula region also outlined the main tasks for the development of the regional road network. According to the head of the region, economic growth and development of tourism, including automobile tourism, increase the requirements for the quality and accessibility of transport infrastructure.
Among the upcoming projects are the construction of the third launch complex of the Eastern Bypass of Tula, the reconstruction of the Tula-Novomoskovsk highway, as well as the construction of a road with the reconstruction of the Kaluga highway near the Novaya Tula residential complex.
Another area of work was the participation of the road industry in the project “Tula region – the territory of family happiness”. As part of this initiative, Troika transport maps with thematic design were released. In addition, after repairing the road, bus stops with the project logo were installed in Yasnagorsk.
Participation in the international exhibition allows representatives of the region to get acquainted with the experience of other subjects of the country, discuss modern approaches to the development of road infrastructure and consider practices that can be used in the Tula region.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the first Deputy head of the administration of Novomoskovsk Vladimir Tokarev held a weekly personal reception of residents and took their appeals for control. Some of the issues were resolved during the reception.
