In the capital police appealed to a woman from whose apartment disappeared jewelry totaling about 10 thousand BYN.

Minchanka rented housing to the son of his girlfriend at a price below the market. For about a year, she didn't check on the lodger. After a while, the woman remembered that she left her jewelry box in the closet, but on arrival she did not find them.

The operatives found that the 31-year-old tenant for a year took someone else’s jewelry and handed them over to the pawnshop when he needed money. Then I bought it back and put it back in place.

When the man was convinced that the hostess does not remember about the box, he left the jewelry in pledge, and spent the money on food and entertainment.

A criminal case has been opened. Minchan will have to compensate for the damage and probably move out of the apartment.
