In an off-site court hearing held in the building of the Pervomaisky police station, the court considered a criminal case against a 61-year-old previously unconvicted resident of the capital, who was accused of committing theft, told the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of Pervomaisky district.

The identity of the suspect was quickly established, the stolen shoes were seized from his place of residence. A criminal case was opened against the Minsk citizen. In court, he fully admitted guilt, repented of what he had done.

- The accused is not officially employed anywhere, he was not previously brought to criminal and administrative responsibility, said Yulia Lugovskaya, senior assistant prosecutor of the Pervomaysky district, who spoke on this criminal case as a state prosecutor. The court found him guilty of secret theft of property (theft) and on the basis of Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code imposed a fine of 30 basic units (1 350 BYN). In addition, he must pay the victim 200 BYN in the account of material compensation for moral damage.
