Minchanin took part in the “action” – now he faces up to five years in prison

A criminal case was sent to the court against a 38-year-old previously repeatedly convicted citizen who is accused of illegal drug trafficking without the purpose of selling, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency was told in the Partizan district prosecutor's office.

The accused decided to relax after his work shift and buy psychotropic in the shadow Internet market. On the site, he saw an advertising banner that when placing several orders during the day, a “bonus” in the form of 1 g of a prohibited substance is relied on. This interested the defendant, and he decided to participate in the “action”.

After confirming the payment, the drug shop administrator sent him geographical coordinates and photos of the area where the caches were located. The same day he went to pick them up.

Minchanin was detained in a flattering array near the st. m. Mogilevskaya. According to the information preserved in his smartphone, drug control officers seized two bundles of powder with a total mass of 1.61 g from the caches, which contained a particularly dangerous psychotropic substance alpha-PVP.

A criminal case was subsequently opened against the resident of the capital. At the time of his arrest, he was under the influence of psychoactive substances.

- The accused is officially employed, previously brought to criminal responsibility three times, including for committing a similar crime, said Timur Stuzhuk, deputy prosecutor of the Partizan district. He was charged with unlawful acquisition and possession of psychotropic substances without the purpose of marketing, that is, with committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 328 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is up to five years in prison. The citizen fully admitted his guilt, repented of what he had done. A preventive measure in the form of a personal guarantee was applied against him.
