At night, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, the accused kidnapped from the construction site to the street. Lieutenant Kizhevatov four boxes of ceramic tiles, eight boxes of clinker products and three buckets of paint with a total value of almost 650 BYN. The attacker planned to use construction materials for repairs in his apartment.
Two days later, after drinking vodka, he again entered the same facility and tried to steal five more boxes of tiles worth 160.88 BYN. This was noticed by a resident of one of the neighboring houses and demanded to return the stolen, but the attacker fled. The woman reported the incident to the line 102.
Police officers promptly detained the suspect, against him opened a criminal case. In the court hearing, the Minsk citizen fully admitted guilt in the incriminated crimes, repented of what he had done.
- The accused is married, is not officially employed anywhere, previously had problems with the law, said Tatyana Maksimenko, senior assistant prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky district, who acted in the criminal case as a state prosecutor. The court found him guilty of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code (theft) and Part 1 of Art. 14, Part 2 of Art. 206 of the Criminal Code (attempted robbery committed repeatedly), and appointed the final punishment in the form of two months of arrest. In addition, the accused must undergo compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism.
The sentence has not come into force, can be appealed and challenged in accordance with the procedure established by law.
