The man was riding a bicycle near the public transport stop “Proletarskaya metro station” and on the ground saw a wallet that he took. It contained 190 BYN, $14, bank and discount cards, documents, business cards and an icon.
A few days later, law enforcement officers contacted Minskan – an elderly woman who dropped her purse appealed to the police. Minchanov confessed to the crime and returned the abducted. A criminal case was opened against the man for theft.
- The accused is not employed anywhere, is a disabled person of the III group, previously had problems with the law, said Alexei Minets, assistant prosecutor of the Zavodsky district. The court decided to terminate the criminal proceedings against a citizen accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code (“Theft”) and release him from criminal liability on the basis of Article 86 of the Criminal Code, applying an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 30 basic units (1 350 BYN).
