A criminal case has been opened against the 41-year-old previously unconvicted citizen for intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, the Oktyabrsky district prosecutor’s office told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency.

On line 103 received a message that in one of the houses on the street. Baku is a man with a knife wound to the shoulder. Then it became known that bodily harm in the midst of a quarrel he caused his wife. At the time of the crime, the woman was intoxicated. A criminal case has been opened against her.
“The citizen was not previously brought to criminal responsibility,” commented Deputy Prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky district Yuri Sovlovets. She was charged with a crime under Part 1 of Art. 147 of the Criminal Code (“Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”), the sanction of which is restriction of liberty for a term of three to five years or imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. A preventive measure in the form of a prohibition of certain actions was applied against the accused.
