Recall that at the moment the amount of alimony is tied to the size of the subsistence minimum budget. From August 1 to October 30, 2026, the minimum amount of these payments should not be lower than BYN 530.37.

The amount of alimony directly depends on the official income of the payer. Thus, for the maintenance of one child, a quarter of earnings are withheld (25%), for two children - a third (33%), and for three or more - half (50%).

According to the Ministry of Justice, out of 100,000 alimony debtors in Belarus, more than 75,000 are officially employed and pay money from wages.
