The Ministry of education plans to limit the number of directions for admission to the magistracy

According to the draft order of the Ministry of Education, from 2027/2028 academic year, applicants will be able to apply for a maximum of five master’s programs in one university. Currently, the number of applications within one educational institution is not limited.

Changes are introduced as part of the transition to a new model of higher education.

Earlier, Minister Valery Falkov also said that in the new system, the term of study in the magistracy will vary from one to three years, depending on the complexity of the chosen specialty.
