Ministry of Natural Resources conducts monitoring of utilities of Mogilev region

In the Mogilev region, environmental monitoring of housing and communal services is underway. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus.

The press service recalled:

- An efficient and safe waste management system is a constant focus of the ministry. For this system to work flawlessly on the ground, regular and rigorous monitoring is necessary. The Mogilev Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection appointed monitoring of housing and communal services enterprises in the region on compliance with the legislation on waste management.

The Ministry of Natural Resources clarified that the focus of control will be the operation of solid municipal waste disposal facilities, prevention of burial at landfills of secondary material resources and compliance with approved MSW removal schemes in settlements.
