Ministry of Labor: updated list for simplified hiring of foreigners will come into force from 2027

The updated list for simplified hiring of foreigners will come into force in Belarus from January 2027. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of labor and social protection.

This list was approved by the decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of October 1, 2026 No. 80, the press service reminded:

The document defines 47 professions and positions for which employers will be able to attract foreign workers in a simplified manner: 31 occupations of workers and 16 positions of employees.

The list includes a tractor driver, a loader driver, an operator of poultry farms and mechanized farms. This will expand opportunities for attracting personnel, including in the agro-industrial complex. In turn, from the list for 2027 excluded the path master, midwife and paramedic.

- When forming the list, two criteria are taken into account - the need of employers in personnel and the demand for professions among foreigners, the ministry said.

The list applies to foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not have a permanent residence permit. They can be accepted for these professions and positions without taking into account restrictions on the protection of the national labor market.

Resolution No. 80 comes into force on January 1, 2027, the ministry said.
