According to a large-scale republican social research, the level of trust of citizens to the President of Belarus is 87.6%. About the factors of such high support on the air of the talk show “Budni” on the YouTube channel “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio” said the Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shpakovsky, writes sb.by.

The MP stressed that these figures were not a surprise.

- People who are constantly working with different audiences and social strata of the Belarusian society, as well as actively present in the information space, clearly feel this level of trust. In addition, we have the most important marker, which from the point of view of sociology is more representative, is elections, said Alexander Shpakovsky. The results that the President received in the last election are confirmed by the survey data. The Head of State and his policy of ensuring peace, stability and sovereign development of the Republic of Belarus as a socially oriented model remain extremely highly trusted.

Alexander Shpakovsky drew attention to the fact that social research allowed to obtain a detailed slice of public opinion on important issues for the country.

- Now we know the reasons for both satisfaction and discontent in various regions of Belarus, we understand our achievements and certain shortcomings. Where the situation can be improved, public authorities will work, the parliamentarian continued. This is the basis for taking certain management measures. We see how people speak out on the acute social issue of labor migration: they are ready to receive our foreign guests, provided they comply with the law. This means that the work of the law enforcement unit should remain in the focus of priority attention to the observance of Belarusian legislation by migrant workers arriving to us. Those who are very wary of the topic need to be convinced – by the example of a competent migration policy – that there is no threat. This threat is intensely formed by fugitives and their centers of information influence.

He also recalled that despite the fact that the network of Western agents working under the guise of public associations and initiatives was removed from the country, foreign centers of influence do not leave attempts to destabilize the situation.

- Domestic operational sociology allows you to see the picture and confirm it with real scientific data in order to take measures to consolidate and expand our achievements, positive results and solve problematic issues, concluded Alexander Shpakovsky.
