The premiere of the documentary “Peace to the touch” took place in the cinema “Belarus” on September 16, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
The auditorium of the cinema was full. The audience was mainly teenagers 13-16 years old. The lucky couple got acquainted with the 26-year-old Belarusian legend. That’s how, without too much pathos, they repeatedly talked about Daniil Saven – a native of the village of Krasnaya Sloboda, the winner of Factor.BY in 2024 and a soldier. He attended the meeting in person.

A challenge to fate
At three months, the boy was diagnosed with a terrible diagnosis: oncology of the visual organs of the IV degree. Doctors predicted a very short life for the baby - from two months. But the parents tried their best to save their child, and one day they heard from doctors incredible: the disease has receded.
From an early age, Daniel showed creative abilities, and his mother decided to do everything possible to develop his son’s talents. The boy showed excellent hearing and strong vocal data. As a teenager, his voice began to break, and the doctors advised Daniel not to sing. However, the future artist did not listen and found a new vocal teacher. It was the chairman of the Belarusian Union of Composers Elena Atrashkevich. It was she who persuaded her talented student to take part in the show “Factor.BY”. Daniil won an unambiguous victory in the contest: more than 90,000 people voted for him in the final.

Since childhood, the boy had a dream - to serve the Motherland. Therefore, having reached military age and despite his disability, he dared to write a letter to the President with a request to enlist him in the Armed Forces. To the great surprise of the whole family, the Commander-in-Chief supported the initiative of the young man. So, on August 30, 2024, he joined the ranks of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. This is the first time in the history of the country when a military oath is taken by a soldier deprived of the opportunity to see.
- I have changed my view of the world since the beginning of the service. I became more responsible for what I said. I began to pay more attention to the details. Every word I say has weight. And not because I’m Daniil Savenia – a famous artist today, but because I’m dressed in uniform. And this privilege you need to be able to properly dispose of, said the young man.

The power of spirit on the big screen
The documentary “The World to the Touch”, telling about D. Saven, is a story about incredible talent, strength of spirit and endless faith in a dream. The organizer of the project and the journalist of "VoenTV" Anna Litash said that the film was created quickly - in just a couple of months, without overlaps and delays.
- Your country can be defended in different ways, she told media representatives before the screening of the film. Someone like us journalists, someone with a gun in their hands. But there are those who defend their homeland with music and songs. And our broadcaster wanted those who have arms, legs, eyes to watch this film and think about the value of health and life. They never gave up for fear of not coping.

After watching the documentary, Alexei Talay, a famous Belarusian paralympian who accidentally blew himself up on a mine during the Great Patriotic War and lost his arms and legs, addressed the audience:
- While we’re developing technologies that don’t know where everyone is going, Daniel lives in a world where you can be yourself and yourself. His mind is not littered with the Internet and likes, from which we are very tired. Pay attention to such people! They are sent to us by God as an example of strength and courage. Daniel, you are the pride and legend of our country. We'll all follow your example.

D. Saveni’s mentor at Factor.BY was Sergey Parkhomenko, known in show business as Sergey. In the documentary, he spoke about his ward:
- Daniel doesn't know what he's wearing. He doesn’t know about the brands, about the new models of Ferrari or Lamborghini – he doesn’t know what it is. That's why Daniel is real. His level of consciousness is incredibly deep. What kind of songs can he sing? Only those that will unite us all around something real, that will teach and even make us better.

In February 2027, Daniel is planning a solo concert “Let’s hug”. To say goodbye, the artist addressed the male half with the following instructions:
If something belongs to you, never give it to anyone.
It was, of course, about the homeland.
