Metropolitan Matthew discussed with rectors the development of youth pilgrimage trips

On October 9, Moscow hosted a working meeting of Metropolitan Matthew of Pskov and Porkhov with the rectors of the Moscow University of Finance and Law and the Moscow Institute of Architecture and Construction (MASI). About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the Pskov diocese.

Among the participants of the meeting were the rector of the IFSA, professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education Alexei Zabelin, rector of the IASI of the Moscow Humanitarian and Technological University, associate professor Svetlana Zabelina, as well as the head of the direction for the development of pilgrimage of the Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church on the development of pilgrimage and the bringing of the shrines of the abbs Michael (Solodukhin).

The key topic of discussion was cooperation in organizing and supporting systemic youth pilgrimage trips to the spiritual centers of Russia. The development of such trips is planned within the framework of the Spirit Startup project, which is supervised by the Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church for the Development of Pilgrimage and the Bringing of Shrines.

Following the meeting, the parties reached agreements on cooperation.
