Mogilev region hosts Dazhynki-2026: Shklov will meet the best farmers of the region

Today, October 10, Shklov will become the center of the main holiday of workers of the village of Mogilev region - the festival-fair "Dazhynki-2026". In the district center will gather the best farmers who worked for a hundred at the current harvesting. The districts and farms, the main agronomists and engineers, combine harvesters, young crews and links of operators of grain drying plants will be honored, sb.by reports.

The main celebrations will unfold at the renovated district House of Culture, where the festive concert “Glory to the people, shto Pratsuyutsya on the land” will honor the best farmers of this season. The Ice Arena will award the winners of the regional competition, who took second and third places. What awaits the guests? Near the DC will unfold a large photo exhibition about the harvesting campaign, as well as an exhibition of agricultural machinery - the flagships of the agro-industrial complex. The festival venues will present the agro-industrial, industrial, tourist and cultural potential of the region. The streets of the city will turn into shopping rows: all districts of the region will demonstrate their farmsteads, where you can buy agricultural products and try dishes of national cuisine. By the way, the food court will be more than usual: the length of the shopping rows will be 1.6 kilometers, and the number of seats is 1.3 thousand. Last year, these figures were 800 meters and 780 seats, respectively.

In the renovated city park, educational institutions and activists of BRSM will hold exhibitions and presentations with master classes, organize photo zones, quest games, sports locations and a mini-football championship. And in the evening, at the district House of Culture, the solemn closing of the festival “Youth for the Union State” will take place: a gala concert of the winners of the competition of youth song performers, art groups and pop artists. The Dazhynki musical and entertainment program and festive fireworks will be completed. What is the outcome of the festival? This season, the gross grain harvest, including rapeseed, amounted to 1 million 220 thousand tons. The production of rapeseed rose to 184 thousand tons – this is the best result for all years of cultivation. The highest hammers of grain and rapeseed at Mogilev, Shklovsky and Goretsky districts. The best grain yield per hectare is in Gazovik-Sipakovo JV and Aleksandriyskoye OJSC of Shklov district (70.5 and 69.6 c/ha), rapeseed in K. P. Orlovsky Dawn OJSC of Kirov district (51.5 c/ha).

The current harvesting campaign involved 990 harvesters and more than a thousand vehicles. Record-holders of this season’s harvest are harvesters Sergey Mai from Servoux agro of the Mogilev district with a seven-thousandth result; more than 5 thousand tons were threshed by Grigory Bokach from the same farm and a young combiner Ivan Zdorovkov from Zarya Agrocombinat of Mogilev district.
