Young people speak to young people: the action “Belarus adzynaya” visited Krichev

The republican action “Belarus Adzynaya”, timed to the Day of National Unity, continues to travel around the country. Today, September 14, it was received by Krichev, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

The foyer of Krichev State Agrarian and Construction College is filled with those wishing to join the large-scale event.

- I know that the action “Belarus Adzynaya” has already visited many cities of the country, waiting for it to reach my native Krichev. The main speakers of the action are young opinion leaders, activists of youth movements, people who have achieved success in the field of work, in public life. That is, young people speak to young people without distance and barriers. We talk about the past and the future, about what is really important to each of us. We know that the Belarusian people were divided against their will, and the reunification of Western and Eastern Belarus on September 17, 1939, became a real holiday for them. Since then, we are one big family and should always stay together. I am studying as a builder and I want to build not just comfortable housing, but the future of my country, Ignat Muravyov, a student, shared his thoughts before the event.

The speakers, Yevgenia Kalechits, the leader of the youth wing of the Belarusian Union of Women, and Yevgenia Sprut, deputy chairman of the Youth Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, spoke with the children in simple language on fundamental topics: preserving the historical truth, the value of society, and everyone’s personal contribution to the development of the state. They also recalled the historical roots of the country’s youngest holiday – National Unity Day.

- We remind the young that Belarusians were once separated, but we were able to reunite, become a single people, preserve our country and do everything to make it strong – economically, socially, culturally. Despite the fact that the holiday of September 17 has a very deep meaning, we try to talk about it non-trivially, in a fairly light form, said Evgenia Kalechits. Some of them are getting information from sources politicized by our neighbors. We talk to young people about everything honestly and honestly. They listen, engage, ask questions. Sometimes it goes beyond the topic. And that's good, it's a sign of trust.

To be closer to the youth, speakers come to the guys without jackets and costumes, in ordinary hoodies.

Friends Alina Egorova and Anna Uradnikova, who in college are studying plaster and a driver of category C, really liked this format of the action:

Interactives, quiz allowed us to open up, communicate with each other on equal terms. Belarusians are a united and friendly people, we have a wonderful country with which we associate our future, where we want to live, study, work, create families.

- National Unity Day is a landmark holiday for all compatriots. We are grateful to past generations for the foundation we have, for a strong and independent Belarus. And each of us realizes that we are responsible for the future of our country, said Ivan Krivodubsky, a student of the college.

The most active participants of the meeting received souvenirs. And according to the results of the thematic quiz – bikes with merch “Belarus adzynaya”. Together they performed soulful Belarusian “Belovezhskaya Forest”, “Zavirukha”, “Kasiв Yas Kanyushyn”... The songs that their parents and grandparents sang along with them were deposited in the children’s “subcort” and worked as a cultural code. One country – one goal: Belarusians spoke about unity in Klimovichi during the action “Belarus adzinaya”
