Youth Internet Award in Belarus: who can become a participant

The Belarusian Republican Youth Union from October 12 to November 5 accepts applications for the Republican Youth Internet Prize. It will be the final event of the Content League project, BelTA reports.

The award is aimed at identifying and encouraging the best youth Internet resources and specialists in the field of digital communications, as well as promoting positive content and activities of BRSM in the Internet space.

“Participation in the online awards is a good chance to express yourself to the whole country and get recognition for your achievements in the digital environment. In addition, this is a great opportunity to find like-minded people, get useful contacts and get a powerful impetus for the further development of their projects. Such projects form a positive agenda around young people, show real examples of success and motivate others to try their hand at technology, media and social initiatives, said Vladimir Pavlovsky, First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee.

Participants will be able to compete for victory in corporate and general nominations. Corporate nominations will determine the best communities in the social network “Vkontakte”, accounts in Instagram and TikTok, channels in Telegram, as well as accounts in Threads. The last nomination provides for five categories: primary organizations of the BRSM, primary organizations with the rights of the district committee, district (city), regional (Minsk city) and sectoral committees of the union.

In the general nominations available to everyone, there are awards for the best youth Internet resource for social networks, compliance with social media trends, popularization of BRSM activities and personal style. In each of these nominations will be determined by one winner.

The competition will be held in several stages: acceptance and processing of applications, regional and Minsk city qualifying rounds, and then the republican qualifying round. The winners will be invited to the final event, where prizes and memorable gifts will be presented.
