Fraudsters use a new scheme of deception with foreign passports

Attackers actively advertise the possibility of accelerated obtaining biometric documents in just a few days.

According to the information provided by the Russian Interior Ministry, such proposals are nothing more than a ruse.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed that the legal possibility of expedited registration of a passport applies only to old documents issued for a five-year period. This option is available only in exceptional situations: in case of emergency need of treatment abroad, as well as in case of serious illness or death of a loved one. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and avoid going to private structures promising dubious services for financial reward.
