Fraudsters promised to prepare Lipetsk schoolboy for the Olympics and disappeared with money

27.5 thousand rubles lost a resident of Lipetsk, who wanted to enroll her son in training courses for the Olympics. Instead of training, the woman faced fraudsters, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Lipetsk region reported.

The mother found a thematic channel in the messenger and contacted the manager. After the transfer of money, she was confirmed the payment and promised to contact her. However, a week passed and classes never started. Later, the woman received a message about the upcoming Olympics, but her son was unable to participate due to lack of preparation. Correspondence with the manager had disappeared by then.

The woman went to the police. A criminal case was opened for fraud. The police warn: scammers also offer paid online courses and tutoring, and after receiving the money cease to respond.
