The Moscow region entered the top ten regions with the largest number of sites located in flood zones. A total of 114,606 such territories were identified. More than 78,000 of them do not have capital buildings.

Earlier, the president signed a law that prohibits the development of such sites and the construction of any capital construction projects on them. This should reduce the risks to life and property of citizens.

Authorities continue to monitor flooded areas. Owners should consider limitations when planning construction. Information about flood zones is available in open sources.
