Moscow court extends house arrest of Volgograd ex-official n
The defendants are charged with abuse of power with grave consequences.
The former head of the Volgograd region of nature Alexei Sivokoz and his former deputy Daria Kazankova will continue to be under house arrest – to appeal the measure of restraint failed.
Alexey Sivokoz worked for a long time in the management team of the region: he headed the profile MUP, industry management, the Department of Housing and Energy Complex of the City Hall, since 2018 – the Inspectorate of the State Zhilladzor, since 2020 – the Committee of Housing and Utilities of the region, and since December 2021 – the regional nature.
The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow considered the issue of a measure of restraint for the defendants in the high-profile case. The decision is left unchanged, the publication of details is prohibited. The meeting was held on August 11 under the chairmanship of Judge Oksana Goryunova.
We will remind, in December last year by the decision of the Meshchansky court was arrested another ex-deputy Sivokoza – Irina Panina. The next day, Sivokoz and Kazankova were taken into custody. They are accused of abuse of power with serious consequences. In May, the defendants were transferred from the SIZO under house arrest. There is no information about Panina in the court files.
Details of the criminal case were not disclosed.
