Municipalities at ZNPP issued autonomous means of notification

The authorities of the Zaporozhye region issued autonomous means of notification to the leadership of municipalities in the 30-kilometer zone from the Zaporozhye NPP. This was told by TASS Deputy head of the Ministry of Regional Security Alexander Serykh.

Administrations were handed over loudspeakers on batteries and manual mechanical sirens. All funds were previously checked for efficiency.

Serykh noted that this is important due to frequent power outages in frontline areas. According to him, the regional warning system will work throughout the region in 2028.

Design work on the creation of the system will be completed in 2026. Construction and commissioning will go through municipalities in 2027-2028. In part of the region, the system is already working.
