In the Murmansk region on October 9 will check the work of the warning system. This was reported in the operational Murmansk headquarters.

The check will run from 10:40 to 10:45. At this time, sirens can be heard in the municipalities of the region. Such exercises are conducted to make sure that the warning system is working properly and residents will be able to receive timely information about the threat of emergency situations.

Residents are asked to remain calm. The sound of sirens is associated with a routine check, so there is no cause for concern.

Earlier, MK in Murmansk also reported that the inspection of the warning system in Polar Zorya was postponed to October 9.
