Murmansk road services will prepare equipment for snowfall and ice

In the Murmansk region check the readiness of road services for the winter season. Specialists inspect the bases of contractors, check stocks of anti-icing reagents and the condition of special equipment. This was reported in the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Murmansk region.

As part of the inspection, we examined the base, warehouse and equipment of the Transstroy company, which serves the Vostok and Severomorsk highways.

Particular attention is paid to assessing the quality of reagents. Each batch is checked in the laboratory, and only after a positive conclusion, the materials are allowed to be used on the roads.

Until October 15, contractors must fully prepare equipment for the winter and create a stock of reagents of at least 50% of the required volume. Complete preparation of materials for the season 2026-2027 is planned by December 1.
