Murmanskvodokanal received a warning from the Baltic-Arctic interregional management of Rosprirodnadzor. This follows from the information on the website of the Prosecutor General.
Specialists examined the water area and the coast of the Tuloma River in the Nizhne-Tulomsk reservoir. On the shore they found the release of sewage. According to the register of objects that negatively affect the environment, this release uses Murmanskvodokanal.
The agency found two violations. First, the runoff in fact is not where it is specified in the register and the decision on the provision of a water body for use. Secondly, the draft standards for permissible discharges indicate that the release is buried intra-water, but in fact it is located on the shore strip.
The last time the information about the drain was updated on May 25, 2026. But the company provided false data and violated the law “On environmental protection”. The agency announced a warning and offered Murmanskvodokanal to update information about the object.
According to Rusprofile, Murmanskvodokanal has been working in the field of water purification for more than 27 years. General Director Andranik Musatyan has been holding the position since 2020, that is, the last five years. In total, in 2026, 12 cases worth 18.3 million rubles were considered in the Arbitration Courts with the participation of the enterprise. And there is a case from October 2026 on compensation for damage after violation of the legislation on environmental protection by 2.85 million rubles.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the Murmansk seaport will still pay 318 thousand rubles for discharges into the Kola Bay.
