The administration of the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg, headed by Andrei Khort, was warned about the garbage in Okhta. The North-Western Interregional Directorate of Rosprirodnadzor found waste in the water area of the river near the Yevgeny Shvarts Alley. The matter was prompted by a complaint about snow and trash being stored in the Okhta River's water protection zone near building No. 5 on Evgeniya Shvarts Alley. In September 2026, inspectors inspected the area and discovered driftwood in the river.
Rosprirodnadzor reminded that the dumping of production and consumption waste into water bodies is prohibited. For non-compliance with the requirements in the field of waste management, administrative liability is provided for under Article 8.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The Krasnogvardeisky District Administration has been ordered to strengthen its enforcement of environmental protection requirements for the collection, accumulation, transportation, processing, disposal, and disposal of waste at the specified address.
The head of the administration of the Krasnogvardeysky district is Andrey Khort. According to Rusprofile, the administration is now a defendant in 18 arbitration cases totaling about 52 million rubles.
