Garbage trucks and fire tankers on the MAZ chassis transferred to the park of special equipment of the Orenburg region

Nine garbage trucks and five fire tankers on the basis of the MAZ chassis were handed over to fire and utilities of the Orenburg region, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- For the first time, we leased a firefighter car and today handed over the first five firefighters to the regional fire department. The park of utilities has also been replenished - nine modern garbage trucks will soon start working, said the Governor of the Orenburg region Yevgeny Solntsev.

Six utility cars were produced on the chassis of MAZ by the Moscow plant "Moskommash", three more - by the Ryazhsky auto repair plant.

Fire trucks are manufactured by LLC "POZHSNAB" on all-wheel drive chassis MAZ-5309S5 with a wheel formula 4×4. In addition, a three-year renewal program for firefighting equipment has been formed - the purchase will be annual.

- I am sure that the technology will serve for a long time and will benefit the region, - summed up E. Solntsev.

The ceremony was also attended by Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Ufa Alexander Kovalev, Director General of the Russian Environmental Operator Pavel Kosov, Chairman of BELLEGPROM Group of Companies. Nadezhda Lazarevich, Deputy Head of UPST MAZ Mikhail Lavrinovich.
