The Pustozersk Museum-Reserve continues to talk about the interaction of voiders and Nenets in the network project #Pustozersk and Nenets.
Khabarovo is a village on the shore of the Yugra Shar Strait, which existed until 1967. The name from Nenets "hober" - the main, main. The second name of the village is Nikolskoe (named after the Ugra Church in the name of Nicholas the Wonderworker).
The village served in the spring and summer as a trading center for the entire eastern part of the Bolshe-Earth tundra. In the summer, you could see bear skins hanging around the huts, whitening in the sun.
The main revival was represented by Samoyed plagues, of which there were a significant number. Samoyeds began coming here from the tundra in early May. At the same time, industrialists came from Pechora (including voiders) on deer and brought goods with them. The skins of the polar bear, walrus, sea hare, seal, walrus fangs, burglars, down, fish, etc., accumulated during the winter, were immediately sold, taking into account the debts for the past year. Trade, as a rule, was accompanied by bonding of the Nenets.
In late July - early August, the first steamer from Arkhangelsk came to Nikolsk. I brought flour, tea, sugar and other goods. The ship was usually greeted with delight. Numerous Samoyed boats pestered him from different sides. The last ship left at the end of August. At the same time, they began to harvest deer beef, which was left to the Nenets wintering here.
At the beginning of the XX century in Nikolsk there was a church, a chapel and 4 huts. Monks from the Solovetsky Monastery came here almost every year to perform services and requirements.
