Interior Ministry: order provided for more than 28 thousand mass events in eight months

Public order protection was provided for more than 28 thousand mass events for eight months of 2026. This was told by the senior inspector on special orders of the department for mass events of the Department of law enforcement of the SUOPP MOB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kozlovsky, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

At a press conference on the theme of a single security day (it will be held on September 24), V. Kozlovsky recalled that the internal affairs bodies constantly protect public order in the country, including in places with mass stay of citizens. This is achieved by various methods. Among them are patrolling, road safety, preventive work. The public is informed in advance if they plan to impose any restrictions.

The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also voiced recommendations for the population how to behave when in a crowd. It is necessary to try not to go in the center, but closer to the edge. At the same time, narrow passages, glass windows and pillars should be avoided.

- Bend your hands at your elbows and press against your body, but do not keep them in your pockets. This will allow you to move safely in the crowd. If you see a police officer, you can always contact him for help, Kozlovsky added.

He noted that for employees of the internal affairs bodies, exercises and training on actions in various emergency situations are constantly conducted.
