In the Azov district of the Rostov region there were personnel changes. The acting head of the administration was appointed Fedor Kovtunov, who previously held the post of deputy head for economy and territorial development.
As it became known from the social networks of the official, he began to perform new duties on October 9. The decision on the appointment was made after the previous head of the district Sergey Komarov left his post. The official submitted his resignation on his own, and deputies unanimously supported him.
The new head is a native of the village of Mechetinskaya Zernograd district of the Rostov region. In 1997, he graduated from Rostov State University of Civil Engineering with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering, having obtained the qualification of an engineer.
Kovtunov’s professional path began in Rostov companies Rost-Pak and Vayun. Then followed five years of work in a large Don construction organization, where he went from foreman to site chief and deputy construction director.
From 2011 to 2018, Fedor Kovtunov worked in the administration of the city of Bataisk, holding positions from the head of the territorial development and construction department to the deputy head of the administration for territorial development and construction.
Since April 22, 2019, he worked as chief architect in the administration of the city of Azov, but seven months later he left this post. After that, he began his work in the structure of the administration of the Azov district, where he oversaw economic and territorial development issues.
