Wet snow, ice and frosts up to -12 degrees are expected on the Don in November

Forecasters made a preliminary weather forecast for November in the Rostov region according to long-term observations. According to the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the region, on some days of the month, rain and wet snow, fog and ice phenomena are possible.

At night, the air temperature will fluctuate from -2 to +2 degrees, in the afternoon - from +2 to +10. On cold nights, thermometers can drop to -7, and in the north and east of the region - up to -12 degrees.

Over the past four years, the average temperature of November on the Don was kept within +4.3...8.9 degrees: the warmest was 2025, the coldest was 2024. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region, from 2021 to 2025, the climate on the Don became hotter and drier.

Due to bad weather, emergency situations are possible: strong wind and rain can break power lines, knock down trees and damage roofs, flooding and difficulties on roads are not excluded. Snowfall and ice, especially in the north of the region, can hamper the movement of transport.
