On the ecotrope in the region of Russia found a stone charging phones

On the ecotrope "Taphar Plateau" in Buryatia, a stone was found, upon contact with which smartphones show the battery charging icon. The unusual effect was noticed by the head of the department of culture and tourism of the administration of the Ivolginsky district Olga Lyktypova. She told the agency “Vostok-Teleinform”.

The find attracted attention during a working trip to the tourist route. Lyktypova put the phone on a stone surface and saw that the device displays the charging process. When she removed the smartphone, the corresponding icon disappeared. A second test gave the same result.

Later, the unusual property of the stone was tested by Japanese tourists. On their phones, when in contact with the surface, a charging indicator also appeared.

Presumably, the effect may be due to the peculiarities of the electromagnetic field in this area. Its characteristics can be influenced by geological conditions, including underground water flows, faults of the earth's crust and accumulations of ore rocks.

At the same time, the appearance of the charging icon by itself does not confirm that the smartphone battery really receives energy. Additional verification is needed to determine the causes of the unusual phenomenon.
