Tatarstanians participated in the All-Russian action “Save the Forest” today, 105 seedlings were planted on the Blue Lakes: pine, spruce, horse chestnut.
For the eighth time, the “Blue Lakes” was chosen not by chance: we plant trees here for the third year in a row, expanding the green frame within the city, said the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov.
The specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prigorodny and Zelenodolsky forestry, the forest fire center - about a hundred people gathered. Within an hour, 105 seedlings were planted. The action takes place near Kazan, together with active caring residents. A one-time planting of one million seedlings at all sites is expected in the republic, Kuzyurov said.
Near Kazan, the landing was carried out near the villages of Voronovka and Orel of the Laishevsky district, near the Chebaks railway station of the Soviet district.
In total, more than a hundred sites were landing in the republic, 20,000 people are expected to participate. Last year, 2.5 million pieces of planting material were planted in Tatarstan on an area of 700 hectares.
Organizers of the All-Russian action “Preserve the Forest” of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, ANO “Memory Garden” and FEAD “Ecosystem”. The goal is to plant 70 million trees.
