Gomselmash plans to assemble 200 thousand self-propelled combine

Gomselmash plans to assemble a 200-thousand self-propelled combine. It is also preparing to produce a 50 thousandth harvester, which will become a certain milestone and achievement of the team. Plans on the eve of the Day of machine builder shared General Director of JSC “Gomselmash” Vitaly Sheleg. According to him, the beginning of 2026 was tense for the holding, writes sb.by.

He noted:

- Taking into account the turbulence that exists in the main market, the enterprise, on the instructions of the relevant ministry, had to redistribute the directions of implementing equipment.

According to the CEO, thanks to this opportunity and the tasks that stood, at the moment the company is moving confidently towards their implementation.

- We set ourselves the task of working at the level of 2025 in order to have a small margin of safety in 2026 in order to enter with a possible balance of finished products in the season of 2027, the CEO said. Positive changes are confirmed by the dynamics of warehouse balances: they are systematically declining, which indicates a steady demand for Belarusian equipment in the main Russian market, as well as others.

Vitaly Sheleg said that the company works well in the long-arc market with the African region.

- For us, a new direction is countries such as Togo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe. Our technology is slowly beginning to develop this region. We are also active in the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Last year we worked well with our partner, with whom we have a joint production. To date, we have taken such a tight course on the competitiveness of our car according to the formula “price-quality”.

According to him, over the past eight months the company has come to stable work.

- We work with all kinds of our costs, we have stabilized our work with our suppliers, and we see that the result of such coordinated work is to achieve stable work with net profit, work with suppliers primarily in terms of quality. We understand that our product is necessary, and our farmers need what we do, the head of Gomselmash emphasized.

He also shared his production plans:

- The company is preparing to produce a 50 thousandth harvester, which will become a certain milestone and the achievement of the entire large team. This year the company turns 96 years old. In addition, we will collect 200,000 self-propelled combine harvester. Take this height, the CEO added.
