On the Imperial bridge in Ulyanovsk again allowed to accelerate to 60 km / h

The temporary speed limit on the Imperial Bridge was lifted after major road work was completed. Instead of the previous 40 km / h, motorists can now move along the crossing at speeds up to 60 km / h.

Before the cancellation of the restriction, the contractor completed the application of road markings at the entrances to the bridge. Work was carried out including on the extension from the Volga region and the ring intersection of the cargo and passenger "eight" descent of Stepan Razin.

The changes also affected public transport stops. The landing areas were paved and highlighted with yellow markings. For the complete arrangement of stops left to install pavilions.

After the completion of safety measures, the temporary signs “40” were dismantled, and the cameras of the Traffic Organization Center were reconfigured to the current speed mode.

Earlier, metal deformation seams were replaced on the Imperial Bridge and a new asphalt covering was laid level with them. Repair of the roadway was carried out as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, and the asphalt contractor completed ahead of schedule.

At the same time, drivers are asked not to perceive the lifting of the time limit as a reason for haste: at the crossing it is necessary to observe the allowed speed and distance, as well as to refuse sharp and dangerous maneuvers.
