Russian Emergencies Ministry employees provide fire safety at polling stations.

In Kalmykia, the second day of voting for candidates for deputies of the State Duma is held. In the capital of the region, by-elections to the Elistinsk City Assembly are also held in several polling stations.

There are 224 polling stations in the country. In order to ensure fire safety, employees of the emergency department of Kalmykia provide comprehensive support to election commissions.

At the facilities involved in conducting a single voting day, control over compliance with fire safety requirements was organized. First of all, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations pay attention to the serviceability of automatic fire alarms, the presence of primary fire extinguishing means and the state of evacuation exits.
