In Kherson region sent to court the case of calls to terrorism and extremism

The Prosecutor’s office of the Kherson region approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 52-year-old resident of Chaplin district. She is charged under Part 2 of Art. 280 and Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - public calls for extremist and terrorist activities. The crime was identified by officers of the FSB of Russia in the Kherson region and investigated by the investigator of the IC in the region.
According to the investigation, in the period from March 2023 to February 2026, the accused repeatedly posted text messages on the Internet containing calls for violent actions against a group of people on ethnic grounds, as well as terrorist attacks against civilian infrastructure of the Russian Federation. Her messages were freely available to an indefinite circle of people until they were identified by law enforcement officers.
The criminal case was sent by the prosecutor's office to the Southern District Military Court for consideration on the merits.
