The training center of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus hosted the final stage of the exercises of the competent authorities of the CIS member states and the SCO member states “Eurasia-Anti-Terror-2026”. First Deputy Chairman of the KGB of Belarus Sergey Terebov summed up the event, reports sb.by.

- The final force phase of the joint anti-terrorist exercises took place in Belarus, but the first two stages began in other SCO and CIS countries. The peculiarity of this format is that we have actually combined two exercises – between the SCO and the CIS. I hope it worked out. The scenario is based on a practice-oriented approach.
- Nothing fantastic or ephemeral was invented, he continued. Only what really happens in life. We tried to show as clearly and openly as possible, so that it was clear that law enforcement agencies are ready to perform tasks in any conditions. The intention of the exercises is not to attack or create a new military bloc, but to counter-security and counter-terrorism tasks. Sergey Terebov added that the fighters coped perfectly with the language barrier (the exercises were attended by law enforcement officers from 6 countries). - Editor's note) and showed combat coherence. This is extremely important in achieving a common goal.
- Practice shows that terrorist acts never begin on the territory of a single state. As a rule, intent originates in the territory of one country, and then transferred to another. Therefore, we cannot solve the tasks of anti-terror alone. The level of interaction is key for the success of counter-terrorism operations, concluded the First Deputy Chairman of the KGB of Belarus.
Head of CIS ATC Yevgeny Sysoev thanked the Belarusian side for organizing the forum and exercises and noted:
- The importance of these exercises is evidenced by the fact that they were initiated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. That set the bar straight away. We are united because terrorism has no borders or nationalities. It can only be confronted with a united front. Operation to detain conditional terrorists showed at the Counter-Terrorism Forum in Minsk
