On the Onega embankment completed an important stage of modernization of lighting

The mayor of Petrozavodsk Inna Kolykhmatova informed about the completion of the laying of cable lines on the Onega embankment. According to the mayor, the creation of high-quality engineering infrastructure is the foundation for further arrangement of a comfortable and safe urban environment.

Now the contractor begins installation of lighting structures. The plans include the installation of 11 standard supports, 38 stylized floor lamps, as well as the installation of 76 lamps on brackets and more than fifty architectural spotlights.

Recall that a large-scale renovation of the embankment began in May 2026. The project includes replacing tiles, installing small architectural forms (benches and swings) and creating modern lighting. Special attention was paid to the rotunda: in the summer of 2026, experts updated its facade, columns and dome, as well as adjusted lighting. In addition, a new amphitheater has already been built on the territory, and in the future it is planned to build another one. Work is carried out by Bioen Trade from Moscow, and the completion of all events is scheduled for autumn 2027.
